Here's how you can practice mindful breathing.

You probably have heard that mindful breathing helps you reduce anxiety,  stress and depression. It can also help you focus better at work, maintain your energy levels and improve your productivity at work. 

You can practice mindful breathing by taking full and deep breaths. 

Follow these simple 3-step process: 

    1. Inhale for 3 seconds. 

    2. Exhale for 3 seconds. 

    3. Repeat for 5 cycles. 





















When breathing in and out, your mind might wonder to other thoughts. Bring back your focus to your breathing. Focus your mind to the tip of your nose, and try to feel the air as you inhale and exhale thru the opening of your nose. 


Make sure you inhale and exhale only thru your nose. Avoid using your mouth. Breathing thru the nose allows you to have a better control of your heart rate in the long run. 


Practice these mindful breathing thru out the day. You can start first thing in the morning or before you end your day. You can also try it during break times thru out the day. What’s important is you do it.
